Aaron Patel

Aaron Patel, CPA is a Manager in the Charlotte office of Rives & Associates, LLP, and practices in the areas of auditing and taxation, as well as in various client industries including governmental units serving both local and statewide clients. He has over five years of experience in public accounting and his accumulated experience incorporates a broad range of issues in auditing and accounting for school board, governmental, and nonprofit entities, as well as taxation services ranging from strategic tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, and diverse tax compliance to general financial accounting, auditing and consulting services. He is responsible for monitoring, analyzing and commenting on developments related to the both the general tax, auditing, and insurance practice of the firm, including legislation, regulations, cases, and rulings.

Continuing Professional Education

His continuing education includes attendance at courses concentrating on audit and attestation services for general, nonprofit, governmental and HUD industry clients. In addition, he has attended the distinguished Booke Seminar’s courses for advanced studies in the insurance industry. Mr. Patel has also been featured as one of the firm’s internal instructors providing continuing education to professional staff members of the firm.
